Ingredients

  • 50 ml warm water
  • 20 g fresh yeast
  • 40 g caster sugar
  • 500 g strong white flour
  • 5 eggs whisked & strained
  • 10 g salt
  • 300 g unsalted butter

Preparation

  1. Mix warm water, with yeast and sugar. Leave 2-3 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add into mixer together with flour.
  3. Then add eggs and salt.
  4. Add butter bit by bit.
  5. Proof at room temperature (26 C) for 45-60 minutes.
  6. Then bake 30-45 minutes at 180 C.
